Parking system at the Veenkade, Den haag

The tender for the construction of the mechanical parking system in the garage at the Veenkade in The Hague is won by Palis GmbH.

Palis GmbH is already supplying service and maintenance  at a similar mechanical parking system at the Apeldoornselaan in The Hague. Palis GmbH is now contracted for constructing a system with a little more than 150 parking places at the Veenkade where a traditional canal will be restored. The parking will be constructed underneath the canal with access at both sides of the water. The systems has:

– 2 exit/entry bays
– 2 elevators

The maximum retrieval time is less than 3 minutes and it will be used by people living in the area.

Construction will start late 2011, after preliminary works have been performed, and is expected to be finished early 2014.
